Car crash ahead! Look out!

Picture this: you're standing in the middle of the road, minding your own buisiness. Sure, standing in the middle of the road is probably not the best thing you could be doing, but there's no one around, so you don't really see the problem. I am standing on the side of the road, where it is safe and sensible. All of a sudden, out of no where, a car starts to come down the road really fast. You don't notice and keep on having a good time in the middle of the road. Faster, faster, faster, faster. The car isn't slowing down, and it is clear to see that it is not going to stop just because you are still in the middle of the road.
The question is this: would you want me to just let it hit you and watch you die? Or would you want me to tell you that the car was coming so that you could decide whether to get out of the way or not?

The truth is friends, I can see that car coming down the road towards you. I know that the end of the world is near, and I don't want to just sit around and watch you die.

A friend of mine posted a Facebook status the other day that really got me thinking. Here was the status;

THE END IS SOON TO COME
Matthew 24:6 - And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all [these things] must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Matthew 24:7 - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

It may not seem like anything eye-opening, but it really got me thinking about the fact that I do know the end of the world is coming. The Bible says that Jesus is coming back. I've known this for ages but what do I actually do about it? Nothing! And I know that writing a blog about it is not making much of a change, but it's a start! The truth is, I just love everyone. God has instructed me to love everyone, and so it wouldn't be very loving of me to watch everyone die when I know that there is a way for everyone to have eternal life. So although I don't really say stuff like this very often, I know that I should. So, friends, please hear me when I tell you that you can't afford to just be idle anymore. God loves you, and He wants to spend eternity with you. Just give Him your heart. It doesn't have to be anything fancy, and it doesn't have to be anywhere special, but just dedicate your life to God, and stop trying to make it on your own.

The Bible says is Acts 2:38 "Then Peter said unto them, repent every one of you and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." and before you try to say well church just isn't for me, why don't you hear the next verse, 39: For this promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." In order for you to be safe from that oncoming car, you need to repent (that's just saying that you are sorry for sinning, truly meaning it, and turning away from that lifestyle), be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ not any other name, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost - that is the best part! Having God's own Spirit living inside you! It's the best thing that has ever happened to me! Don't think about the things that you have to stop doing, or the things that you have to start doing. Just think about the fact that God loves you. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you! Just put God first!!!
 I encourage you all to just give it a try. After all, what have you got to lose?

Thanks for reading.

Stay Blessed!
